Baysgarth School was founded in 1975 and has proudly been serving the communities of Barton-upon-Humber and the surrounding villages for almost 50 years. We have continually encouraged the best from each and every student and year on year the school is enjoying the most successful academic results in the school’s proud history.
Over the last six years Baysgarth has undergone a complete transformation. In summer 2014 our results were the second worst in the Local Authority and were on a three-year downward trend. Since then we have made significant and sustained improvements; in 2015 we were named the most improved school in North Lincolnshire and in 2016 we were in the top five schools in the Humber region, in the top two schools in North Lincolnshire and amongst the top 10% of schools nationally. Since then, Baysgarth has been in the top 5% of schools nationally for the progress we make with our students year on year.
