Brookfield School is a special school based in Poulton-le-Fylde that caters for pupils with a wide range of needs and challenges linked to social, emotional and mental health (SEMH).
“For many pupils, this school is their first taste of success for a long time” (OFSTED, November 2019).
Brookfield School provides each pupil with a bespoke program of study, support and intervention that meets their learning, pastoral and social needs alongside future destinations and career aspirations. We also work closely with previous educational providers, families and supporting agencies to provide the very best level of support for each pupil.

Recent expansion has given us the opportunity to develop a multi-site approach that allows us to place each child in the setting that best meets their needs.

We provide a learning pathway that aligns with mainstream provision but with smaller classes and increased support. We also provide specialist nurture provision that adopts a primary model of delivery. At KS4 we have a comprehensive academic, vocational and careers offer that provides the skills, attributes and confidence for all pupils to succeed in their onward journey (Post-16).
