At Liverpool Progressive School, we recognise the importance of the explicit teaching of careers as well as the opportunities arising at many other points in the school day to develop and embed learning through cross – curricular approaches.  In careers, pupils are given the opportunity to learn and gain meaningful understanding about preparing for adulthood, which LPS hold as priority to a child’s holistic development and wellbeing. Our careers Curriculum is comprehensive, providing bespoke and individualised learning experiences for all our students, focussing on their individual goals for when they leave school whilst still following a careers curriculum bespoke to their age group and preparing them for adulthood. During this time students will have access to careers guidance and support which is accessed through the Careers Lead, the school’s connections with Careers Connect and the appointed careers advisor.
