Welcome to Whitstone School, a small secondary school set in the small rural town of Shepton Mallet in picturesque Somerset. With just over 500 students, Whitstone School is a community focused academy school, where each of our pupils is celebrated for their own strengths, and is ably supported to overcome any challenges. During their time at Whitstone School, all of our pupils are considered part of our school community and throughout all of their learning are instilled with our three main points of focus: ambition, respect and excellence.
Our motto, ‘Inspiring Futures’, is especially true of the experience our students receive in the classroom. Our teachers are highly trained and are continually seeking to develop new and exciting ways to inspire our students. We have a highly motivated and skilled staff who relentlessly focus on the experience our young people receive in the classroom.
