We have an exciting opportunity for an apprentice to be trained up by our Director to be a quality assurance consultant (and potentially health and safety too.
We aim to train one lucky candidate to work alongside the Director daily. This will consist of going to a different site every day across the country, mostly a vehicle dealership or vehicle repair (such as Volkswagen, Audi, Skoda, Mercedes and BMW) to assist the client to implement key brand standards and pass manufacturer audits.
The role will consist of working in all departments of a Volkswagen/Audi/Skoda car/commercial vehicle dealership alongside the Director to ensure the site have the correct requirements in place to pass a brand standards audit.
We work to a document which has all requirements listed:
Areas cover, quality checks of vehicles, customer complaints, customer feedback, jobcards, sales, parts and aftersales core processes, tooling, calibration of equipment, quality policies, meeting minutes, housekeeping, point of sale materials, staff training and much more
You will be fully involved in the day to day relationship, managing the delivery of audit requirements against an audit document
You will be required to maintain clear project plans detailing specific requirements, delivery timelines and success criteria
This is an extremely important role in the business and we touch every area of the business. The objective is that once trained you will go out to site independently and train clients in audit requirements and complete relevant documents
You will be expected to take notes and support the Director
The role we are looking to fill can be as varied as our new team member chooses to make it, we are a busy and diverse company that deals with a vast range of services
Please note in order to be considered for this vacancy, you must be a driver with access to your own transport and willing to travel as a part of your day to day role (mileage covered by the employer). The nature of the role requires the individual to travel (up to 150 mile radius) in order to visit different sites therefore, a driving licence/access to your own transport is essential. Employer will support with other associated driving costs such as insurance (to be discussed at interview).
